Spiral Florescent Bulb Comparison

First image is how the room and I look while illuminating from a ceiling fixture with a pair of economy spiral florescent bulbs.

Second image is how the room and I look while illuminating from a ceiling fixture with a pair of better quality spiral florescent bulbs. The bulbs were Sylvania brand but more importantly, they were the bright white 3500K (colour temperature) bulbs.
Note that the door is actually white and the wall is light grey. It is immediately apparent which bulbs are producing more accurate light for the room.
You might want to consider what kinds of bulbs you are using in your home, especially for the makeup mirror in the bathroom! I suggest you find some 3500K bulbs if you aren’t using them now. It’s not so important for some areas such as hallway lighting, but if you are going to be in an office, for example, you might want to switch to these much more natural light bulbs.
The difference was immediate.
Note, for this room which is probably about 10 x 12 feet, I am using a single ceiling light fixture with two 100W equivalent bulbs.
